Cans for Kids still being collected

Aluminum cans are still being collected in the wagon at Mathis Battery on Pikeview Street in Dresden. Drop off aluminum cans at Mathis Battery instead of putting them in the trash. The money raised will benefit children at the Baptist Children’s Home. This money is used to give these children extra events and items they would not have otherwise. Area churches sponsor the can drive. Tillman Arant, founder of the project, is in charge of taking the cans to the recycler. wcp 12-16-08
