Kentucky trooper earns state honor
 A Kentucky State Police trooper who serves Fulton County (Ky.) has been honored for outstanding job performance. Trooper Jason Clark from the KSP’s Mayfield Post was recognized Thursday at the Governor’s Impaired Driving Enforcement Awards Ceremony, held at the Embassy Suites in Lexington, Ky. Officers from various agencies and individuals from across the state were recognized for their outstanding achievements. Clark was recognized for his outstanding job performance, specifically for the driving under the influence (DUI) enforcement period that ran from Oct. 1, 2007, through Sept. 30, 2008. During that time, Clark arrested 69 impaired drivers. Clark began his career with the KSP in February 2008. He is currently assigned to both Fulton and Hickman counties in western Kentucky, according to the KSP. Published in The Messenger 12.10.08
