Leslie B. Tarver, 86, of Martin died Dec. 7, 2008, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Murphy Funeral Home in Martin, with burial to follow in Harmony Cemetery in Fulton.
The Rev. Bill Tate will officiate and pallbearers will be Kirk Brandon, Darrin Parks, Patrick Tarver, Bill Little, Bill Terrell Logan and Bill Loran.
Friends may call at the funeral home 4-7 this evening.
He was born June 23, 1922, in Martin, son of the late A.W. and Mamie (Hudson) Tarver. He was married to the former Mary Belle Campbell, who survives, and was a retired employee of TVA and a retired farmer. He was a member of Martin First United Methodist Church.
Survivors also include his son, Ralph Tarver of Martin; four grandchildren, Kirk Brandon, Kelly Parks, Brandi (Tarver) Woodruff and Patrick Tarver; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Pam Brandon; and his sister, Beatrice Little.
