Peggy G. Midyett, 66, of South Fulton died Dec. 5, 2008, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.

Services were set for 2 p.m. today at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with the Rev. Dale True officiating. Burial was to follow in Sandy Branch Cemetery in Weakley County.

She was born Dec. 26, 1941, in Fulton, daughter of the late Willard and Wilsie (Webb) Brasure. She was married to Larry Midyett, who survives, and had been a waitress for the Whistlin’ Pig at Fulton and at several other restaurants in the area. She had lived here all her life and was a member of McConnell Baptist Church.

She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Kerry Boane of Gleason; her son, Anthony Prince of Martin; six grandchildren; two brothers, Jimmie Brasure of South Fulton and Earl Dean Brasure of Greenfield; and two sisters, Shirley Crittendon of Martin and Joyce Kwasney of Port Charlotte, Fla.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Brasure and Bobby Brasure.
