There’s always something special cooking at Clark’s Country Cafe in Troy.
Clark’s — recently opened by Michael and Janice Clark in the former Patsy’s location at 501 South U.S. Highway 51 South in Troy — offers different daily specials and a wide variety of home cooking.
The interior of the restaurant has been completely redecorated in pleasant subdued tones, with comfortable seating available throughout the spacious dining areas. Mrs. Clark said Clark’s Country Cafe seeks to provide “a pleasant family atmosphere.”
The menu features home cooking, including the different daily specials, a soup and salad bar and homemade pies. Catfish and homemade fixings are offered every Friday and Saturday beginning at lunchtime and breakfast is available any time of the day.
In addition to the Clarks, the family restaurant’s staff includes cooks Linda Frazier and Alan Earp, Kelly Hurst, Ashley Clark, Michelle Clark and Wendy Bur-ton.
Clark’s Country Cafe is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 5 a.m.-7 p.m. and Wednesdays from 5 a.m.-2 p.m. The restaurant is closed Sundays. It is located across from Gibson Electric Membership Corp.
For more information, call the restaurant at 536-5685.
