Sarah Regen Sarah Elizabeth (Few) Regen, 82, a resident of the Etheridge House in Union City, formerly of Nashville, died Dec. 3, 2008, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Nashville. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Belmont United Methodist Church in Nashville. Friends may call in the Iris Room at the church from 1 p.m. until the hour of service. Honorary pallbearers will be the Harbison Fellowship Class at Belmont United Methodist Church, Harold Kay and Earvil Whitehead. White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements. The family requests memorials be sent to Belmont United Methodist Church, 21st and Acklen, P.O. Box 120098, Nashville, TN 37212-0098. She was born Nov. 1, 1926, in Nashville, daughter of the late Herman Webster and Elizabeth (Bogle) Few. She married Thomas Samuel Regen Sept. 18, 1948. He died Jan. 4, 1980. She was a retired administrative assistant to the director of athletics for the Nashville Metropolitan Board of Education for 20 years. She was a member of Belmont United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Harbison Fellowship Class. She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross and the Meals on Wheels program. She is survived by her daughter, Beth (Regen) Whitehead of Johnson City; two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas Duncan and Donna Regen of Pulaski and Robert F. “Bob” and Sharon Regen of Union City; four grandchildren, Angela (Regen) Davis and Robert Andrew Regen, both of Union City, Jason Thomas Whitehead of Denver and Leslie Michelle Whitehead of Nashville; her great-grandchild, Jayce Tucker Davis of Union City; and her sister, Jane Vick of Nashville.
