A benefit concert for Operation Troop Aid will be held at B.B. Kings Blues Club in Nashville on Friday at 9 p.m., with appearances by various artists of Rock, Pop & Country genres.  All proceeds will go to help supply care packages for the troops. The mission of Operation Troop Aid is to provide care packages for our deployed U.S. service members. OTA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation striving to make a positive difference and inspire Armed Forces members by letting them know Americans stand with them. Artists to perform include Hip Kitty, Charlotte Medley, Dirt Brothers & Tokyo Sauna. All performing artists are donating their time to help raise funds to support our troops. There is a $5 door donation, doors open at 8 p.m. “Please help us by showing your support as we let our troops know that they are “NOT forgotten,” a spokesman said.
