UT Martin men
ready for USC
LOS ANGELES — The University of Tennessee at Martin men’s basketball team will look to turn their attention from turkeys on Thursday to Trojans tonight, when they will take on the University of Southern California at 9:30 local time at the Galen Center in Los Angeles.
UT Martin (2-2), coming off a 76-67 home loss to Arkansas State on Tuesday, departed on a flight out of Nashville Wednesday morning.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) — Danero Thomas scored a career-high 22 points as Murray State beat Indiana State 67-61 on Wednesday night.
Thomas made 8-of-15 field goals, including 4-of-6 3-pointers for the Racers (3-1). Jeffery McClain added nine points and nine rebounds for Murray State.
Jay Tunnell scored 12 points, Keenan Barlow scored 11 and Aaron Carter added 10 for Indiana State (0-3).
Indiana State led 35-33 at halftime, but Thomas tied the game at 37 with a 3-pointer with 15:58 to play.
The Racers took an eight-point lead before Indiana State rallied and cut Murray State’s advantage to 61-59 with 1:18 to play.
Tyler Holloway and McClain each went 2-for-2 from the free-throw line in the final 45 seconds to keep the Racers ahead.
