Miss Harrell, Williams to wed Posted: Wednesday, November 26, 2008 6:25 am The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Shemecka Laraie Harrell of Union City and Steven Eric “Steve” Williams of Memphis are being announced today. The bride-elect is a 1997 graduate of Obion County Central High School and is employed at McDonald’s in Union City. The groom-elect is a 1991 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School in Memphis. He is a correctional officer for the Tennessee Department of Corrections. The couple will wed Saturday at 2 p.m. at Brooks Chapel, located at 230 Brooks Chapel Road in Fulton. A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
