Completed arrangements are being announced for Lonnie Stover, 89, of Union City, who died Nov. 24, 2008, at Regional Hospital in Jackson.

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at East View Cemetery, with the Rev. Jerry Leggett officiating.

Friends may call at White-Ranson Funeral Home this evening from 5-8.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Stover, Jim Robinson, Tony Huddleston, Tommy Miller, Steve Cranford and Royce Stover.

He was born March 6, 1919, in Obion County, son of the late Matt and Ruth (Call) Stover. He married the former Brunell Mills Nov. 6, 1943. She died May 30, 1994. He was a retired employee of the A.B. Dick Co. in Niles, Ill. He had also been a 20-year employee of the former American Metals Co. in Union City and had been a farmer.

He was a Methodist.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and David Miller and Charlotte Fisher, all of Union City; his son, Lonnie M. Stover of Union City; his sister, Wilma Joyner of Union City; two grandchildren, Kyle Stover and Kaila Stover, both of Union City; five great-grandchildren, Amari Ervin, Kylan Ervin and Kaylen Ervin, all of Union City, and Paige Reed and Jacob Reed, both of Rives; and a great-great-grandson.

He was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Deronda L. Reed; and five brothers and two sisters.
