The Messenger. 11.21.08 Completed arrangements are being announced for Catherine “Kitty Cat” Prince, 74, of Union City, who died Nov. 19, 2008, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Rawls Funeral Home in Union City, with interment following in East View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be friends and family and Graham McGill will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the hour of services Saturday. She was born Sept. 7, 1934, in Lake County, daughter of the late Arthur and Ida (Hayes) Macon. She was the widow of Ernest Prince, whom she married in 1961, and she had worked at several restaurants in the area. She was a Church of Christ member. Survivors include her daughter, Betty Wilks of Fulton; three grandchildren, Fredrick Wilks and Kisha Wilks, both of Jackson, and Juanita Michelle Wilks of New Castle; two sisters, Mary Bishop of Union City and Pearline Smith of Memphis; her brother, Arthur Macon of Union City; and eight great-grandchildren.
