The Messenger. 11.21.08 Harold “Junior” Casey, 78, of Dukedom community died 12:12 p.m. Nov. 19, 2008, at Murray-Calloway County (Ky.) Hospital. Services were set for 2 p.m. today at Jackson Funeral Home in Dukedom, with the Rev. Ricky Walker officiating. Burial was to follow in Casey Family Farm Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be made to American Cancer Society, 3140 Parisa Drive, Paducah, KY 42003. He was born March 1, 1930, in Graves County, Ky., and was a self-employed farmer who had lived in the Dukedom community all his life. Survivors include his wife, Katie (Harris) Casey; three sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Debbie Casey of Como, Randy and Suzanne Casey of Palm City, Fla., and Tim and Tonda Casey of Dukedom; eight grandchildren, Glen Casey, John Casey, Sarah Casey, Jennifer Casey, Melissa Harp, Matthew Casey, Nikki Casey and Audrey Casey; his great-grandchild, Taylor Casey; two sisters, Betty Warren and Peggy Vinson, both of Sharon; and two stepbrothers, Bobby Baker of Mayfield, Ky., and James Baker of Memphis. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Quitman and Zella Barker (Dorn) Casey; his biological mother, Mary Kane; his son, Richie Casey; and his sister, Lillie Baker.
