Wilburn Louis Gibson, 70, of Chicago, Ill., died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008, at Norwegian American Hospital in Chicago, Ill. Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, Ky. Burial will be in Rozzell Chapel Cemetery in Graves County, Ky. Gibson was born Feb. 22, 1938, in Mayfield, Ky., son of the late Jessie and Sylvia Lawrence Gibson. He was a machinist for T & H Lemont at Countryside, Ill., and had worked for GM in Ypsilanti, Mich., for more than 16 years Survivors include his wife, Shirley Bynum Gibson of Chicago, Ill.; one son, Daryle Gibson of Somerville; two daughters, Tracy Gibson of Columbus, Ga., and Sylvia McBride of Burlison; two stepsons, Gregory Coulouris of Chicago, Ill., and Keith Dublin of Genoa City, Wis.; one sister, Jean Phillips of Vinemont, Ala; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
