The Messenger. 11.19.08 Wilburn Louis Gibson, 70, of Chicago died Nov. 16, 2008, at Norwegian American Hospital in Chicago. He has several relatives in this area. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with burial following in Graves County, Ky., in Rozzell Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 4-9 Thursday and on Friday from 8-11 a.m. He was born Feb. 22, 1938, in Mayfield, Ky., son of the late Jessie and Sylvia (Lawrence) Gibson. He was married to the former Shirley Bynum, who survives, and was a machinist for T&H Lemont in Countryside, Ill. He had also worked for GM for 16 years in Ypsilanti, Mich. Survivors also include his son, Daryl Gibson of Somerville; two daughters, Tracy Gibson of Columbus, Ga., and Sylvia McBride of Burlison; two stepsons, Gregory Coulouris of Chicago and Keith Dublin of Genoa City, Wis.; his sister, Jean Phillips of Vinemont, Ala.; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and two nephews and his niece.
