Miss Grossner to wed Huebner in December

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Natalie Elise Grossner of Troy and Karl Robert Huebner of Union City, formerly of Hockley, Texas, are being announced today. The bride-elect is the daughter of Linda and Rick Bradberry of Troy and Fred Grossner of Martin. Her grandparents are Jimmy and Bobbye Lloyd of Troy, Catherine Grossner of Collierville and the late Fred Grossner Sr. of Arkansas. She is a 2004 graduate of Obion County Central High School and she graduated summa cum laude in 2008 from the University of Tennessee at Martin. While at UTM, she was a member of Chi Omega sorority, Gamma Beta Phi, Phi Kappa Phi, Honors Program and Student Tennessee Education Association. She is a sixth-grade teacher at Union City Middle School. The groom-elect is the son of Bobby Huebner of Hockley and Evelyn Huebner of Spring, Texas. His grandparents are Dene Mauney and the late Travis Mauney of Spring. He is a 2002 graduate of Klein High School in Spring, a 2004 graduate of Clarendon College in Clarendon, Texas, and a 2006 graduate of UTM. While at Clarendon College and UTM, he was a member of the livestock judging team. He is employed in agricultural sales. The couple will wed at 4 p.m. Dec. 27 in the old sanctuary at First Baptist Church in Union City. Music will begin at 3:30. A reception will follow the ceremony in the Family Life Center of the church. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. Published in The Messenger 11.14.08
