Diana Nerren of South Fulton and Margie Evans of Hickman, Ky., recently won first place at the Tuesday Supper Bridge Club. The Dresden Duplicate Bridge Club meets the second and fourth Tuesday nights at the American Legion Building, located on Highway 22 on the By-Pass. Second place winners were Sandra Klutts and Jane Young, while third place went to Becky Bennett and Linda Jennings, all of Dresden. Last week, Joni Martin and Ruthie Jenkins, both of Paris, won first place in the north-south game. Freddye Oliver of Union City and Toni Pritchett of Dresden won second place, while Jo Glasgow of Union City and Peggy Mayo of Dresden won third. In the east-west game, Jackye Hohman and Carol Ehlers, both of Paris, won first place. Sarah Pentecost and Tom Beard, both of Dresden, won second place, while Minnie Bess Williams of Paris and Lois Harbour of Union City won third. During this week, first place went to Linda Jennings and Becky Bennett, both of Dresden; second place to Kathy Wilson and Susie German, both of Dresden; third place to Alma Ford of Martin and Sarah Pentecost of Dresden; and fourth place to Diana Nerren of Hickman, Ky., and Margie Evans of Fulton. The Wednesday Bridge Club meets every Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. at the American Legion Building. Winners late last month included, in the north-south game, first place, Roberta Meyer of Puryear and Mary Jane Thornton of Union City; second place, Peggy Mayo of Dresden and Jo Glasgow of Union City; and third place, Sue Thompson and Carolyn Rogers, both of Paris. Winners during the east-west game were first place, Carol Ehlers and Jackye Hohman, both of Paris; second place, Jack Bogue of Milan and Freddye Oliver of Union City; and tied for third place, Dot Beach of South Fulton with Naomi Fuller of Fulton and Minnie Bess Williams of Paris with Toni Pritchett of Dresden. Winners in the north-south game last week included first place, Roberta Meyer of Puryear and Mary Jane Thornton of Union City; and second place, Jo Glasgow of Union City and Peg Mayo of Dresden.
