The Messenger. 11.12.08 Joe’s Steakhouse, located at 3762 Ken-Tenn Highway near Union City, will be sponsoring a benefit supper for Mayci Shea Hogg Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. The buffet-style meal will include tenderloin, hamburger steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, drink, dessert and gratuity for $12 for adults and $4 for children 10 years old and younger. At 6 p.m., Ralph Adams will auction off donated items that include a carved Indian head, a carved bowl made from Samburg wood and a ring bowl made from wood from Union City’s Kiwanis Park. Additional items to be auctioned are being accepted. Call Kristi Hogg at 446-2537 or May Simpson at 446-7434 to donate items. Pickup can be arranged. Mayci will be attending the event and those participating can witness firsthand the improvement in her condition since she has been undergoing HBOT, suit therapy and medical treatments. These treatments are not covered by insurance, so Mayci’s Miracle Fund, an affiliate of West Tennessee Health Care Foundation, has been set up to assist. The public is invited to attend.
