Hamilton-Ryker event creates opportunities

The Hamilton-Ryker Company — headquartered in Martin — annually holds a sales day in which employees make cold calls to prospective clients to generate new business opportunities.
Recently, Hamilton-Ryker employees were able to contact 1,026 decision-makers through the annual event. And of those 1,026 decision-makers spoken to, 88 new clients were able to schedule appointments.
The annual sales event also generated 10 orders placed by new clients on the same day.
The Hamilton-Ryker Company, a human resources consulting and management company that provides staffing, has 28 locations predominantly in the Southeast and all of its employees participated in a sales contest. The first-place winner was Scott Morris, a business development manager in the Atlanta office. Sonya Stanley, an executive recruiter from the Antioch office, came in second, while third place went to Jennifer Hayden, the branch manager in Paris.
