The Messenger. 11.10.08 Erdice Lou Cox, 77, of Union City died Nov. 7, 2008, at her home. Services were 3 p.m. Sunday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Melvin Poe officiating. Burial followed in Obion County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Bobby James, Art Bond, Pete Cooley, Johnny Caudle, Perry Butler and Wesley McClure. She was born June 2, 1931, in Obion County, daughter of the late John D. and Edna Lois (Hall) Vinson. She married Vandy Cox Feb. 10, 1950. He survives. A homemaker, she attended Calvary Baptist Church in Union City. She was also a member of the Gideons ladies auxiliary. Survivors also include her daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Jim Buckland of Fulton; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Jason and Cindy Cox and Dwight and Karen Cox, all of Union City, and Steven Cox of Martin; nine grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim Aubrea and Margie Vinson of Fulton and Dale and Teresa Vinson of Union City; and her brother-in-law, Lester Tuggle of Brighton.
