The Messenger. 11.07.08 Mary Lou Binford, 85, of the Crutchfield (Ky.) community died Nov. 6, 2008, at Manor Care at Summer Trace in Carmel, Ind. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with the Rev. Rufus Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Springs Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday. The family requests that memorials be made to Crutchfield United Methodist Church, in care of Nancy Grasfeder, 197 State Route 924, Fulton, KY 42041. She was born Oct. 17, 1923, in Hickman County, Ky., daughter of the late Elmer and Jewell (Gore) Stinnett. She was the widow of Gerald Howell Binford, who died Feb. 13, 2006, and was a homemaker and member of Crutchfield United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Joe Newton of Fishers, Ind.; her granddaughter and her husband, Amy and David Adams of Fishers; two great-grandchildren, Caroline Grace Adams and Ava Catherine Adams, both of Fisher; her sister, Geneva Noles of Union City; and her brother, Bill Stinnett of Indianapolis. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Herschel Stinnett, Stanley Stinnett and John Stinnett; and her sister, Dorothy Jean Stinnett.
