Union City’s city council will meet Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building courtroom. 

Items on the agenda for the business meeting include consideration of a resolution pledging support and cooperation to the Obion County Joint Economic Development Corp.; consideration of an appointment from Ward 5 to fill a vacancy on the City Beautiful Commission; a report and recommendation on bids received for the extension of water and sewer lines under Everett Boulevard to service Discovery Park of America; and the minutes of the Oct. 16 Planning Commission meeting.

The meeting is open to the public.
