The Obion County Budget Committee will meet  9 a.m. Monday in the basement conference room at the Obion County Courthouse. 

Items on the agenda will include the approval of minutes from the Budget Committee meeting Oct. 6; information on the collection of Woodland Mills’ property taxes; requests for line item transfers for the Obion County Election Commission budget, the Register of Deeds budget and the Assessor of Property budget; resolutions amending the General Fund in the amount of $1,000 (Sheriff Jerry Vastbinder) and $3,000 (Mayor Benny McGuire); a resolution approving a settlement agreement and amending the General Fund in the amount of $11,864 (Mayor McGuire); a resolution amending the Debt Service Fund in the amount of $1,180,000 (Chairman Danny Jowers); and a financial report for the Indigent Care Trust Fund.

There will also be consideration of notary public applications.

Board and committees to be considered include Everett-Stewart Regional Airport Board (now serving, Dr. Chris Gooch and David James), Civil Service Board (now serving, Ann McGuire) and Fair Association Board (now serving, Mayor Benny McGuire).

Boards and committees to be considered for the January term include the Agriculture Committee (now serving, David Clark, Polk Glover and Mary Lynn Dotson), Budget Committee (now serving, Jowers, Dwayne Hensley, Robert M. Barnes, Glover, Ralph Puckett, Jerry Grady and Steve Rice), Courthouse Committee (now serving, Steve Goodrich, Jimmy Seals, Richard Arnold, William Kane, Glover, Hensley and Kenneth Cheatham), Ethics Committee (now serving, Allen Nohsey, Donnie Braswell, Terry Roberts, Circuit Clerk Harry Johnson and Roger Williams), County Historian (now serving, Nohsey), Museum Board (now serving, Jamie Adams, Bob Nichols, Bonnie Cross Moon and Vernon May) and Solid Waste Regional Planning Board (now serving, Glover and Alan Benedict).

All members are urged to attend, a spokesman said.

The session is open to the public.
