The Bethel College Renaissance performing arts group and the college’s Relay For Life team will host “A Taste of Renaissance,” a benefit dinner and concert, Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. The event will be held at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in McKenzie and will feature entertainment by Renaissance students and dinner served by the Relay For Life team. The team will also host a silent auction at the event. All proceeds from ticket sales and the silent auction will benefit the research and programs of the American Cancer Society through Relay For Life. “We are so excited that Renaissance is joining us in the fight against cancer,” said Sandy Atwill, Relay For Life team co-captain. “Renaissance always provides excellent entertainment and we know that our guests will enjoy both the entertainment and the meal.” Tickets are $15 each and are on sale now. Tickets may be purchased at the Bethel College Office of the President in Campbell Hall or at the Renaissance Office on Bethel Court.  “We hope that the whole community will come out and support this event, but we have a limited number of seats, so we encourage everyone to purchase their tickets early,” said Atwill.  For more information about “A Taste of Renaissance,” call (731) 352-6447.
