AMELIA BUMPUS Amelia Beeler Bumpus, daughter of Jamie and Kristi Bumpus of Knoxville, recently celebrated her 1st birthday with a picnic at Alcoa-Way Optimist Park near her home. Her father is a former resident of Troy. A “Bunny Rabbit Picnic” theme was used. Guests enjoyed barbecue, potato salad, pasta salad, baked beans and cake. She had her own personal cake. Guests enjoyed a bunny-shaped red velvet cake. The party served as a dual celebration because she shares a birthday with her grandmother, Rebecca Nelson of Knoxville. Attending, in addition to her parents and her grandmother, were her other grandparents, James Earl and Betty Bumpus of Troy and Jim Nelson of Knoxville; her great-grandparents Jay and Jean Nelson and Fred Snoderly, all of Knoxville; her cousins, Holly and Haley Patnode and Heidi, Caden and Zack Coffman, all of Knoxville; her uncle, aunt and cousin, Keith Nelson and April Gardner and Marissa Gardner, all of Maryville; and Karen, Tanna and Kate Lim of Atlanta. Guests also included Casey and Richard Rackley, Betsy Pickle, Fatima Hyder, Dr. Steve and Lisa Skinner, Jean Monroe, Cyndie and Rachel Cecil and Paul, Jennifer, Paige and Levi Severson, all of Knoxville. Sending birthday wishes were her great-grandmother, Rosa Lee Norman, and Jeanette and John Davis, all of Troy; Jennifer Davis of Murray, Ky.; and Judy Beeler of Atlanta.
