The Golden Living Center in Union City has announced the following activities for Oct. 26-31. Sunday: At 10 a.m., Baptist Temple in Union City will visit and hold Sunday school. Exchange Street Church of Christ in Union City will provide evening services at 4. Monday: The beauty shop will be open all day, with services provided by Metta Sisk of Union City. One-on-one visits will be offered to the residents by volunteers and the activity department from 7-9 a.m. From 9:30-11, A New Beginning group from Reelfoot Baptist Church will visit with the residents in the main dining area. A Monday after singing and Bible study will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday: At 9:30 a.m., coffee and juice will be served to the residents in the main dining area. Second Baptist Church in Union City will visit with the residents in the main dining room at 10:30. At 1:30 p.m., a movie and refreshments will be offered to the residents. Terry and Danny Phillips of Union City will visit and hold an evening devotional at 7. Wednesday: At 9:30 a.m., the Coffee Club will meet. At 10:30, Crossroads will be hosted by Jean Jackson of Union City. The facility’s residents council will meet at 2 p.m. Thursday: Metta Sisk of Union City will provide beauty shop services all day. At 9 a.m., the Coffee Club will meet. Bishop Street Church of Christ in Union City will provide Bible study at 10. At 1:30 p.m., Gerry Barber of Union City will host a Bingo auction. Friday: At 9:30 a.m., the Coffee Club will meet. A game of “What’s Missing” will be played with the residents at 10. At 1 p.m., a Halloween costume “judge-a-thon” will be held.
