These workshops provide students with vital life skills such as independence, self-esteem, how to work well with others and the ability to think creatively. September’s workshop celebrated Fall. During this workshop, youth created scarecrow decorations and decorated handy dry erase boards with pumpkins, leaves and a scarecrow. Volunteers helping during the workshop included Nancy Davis, Marissa Howard, Jessica Crackel and Elizabeth Acevedo. The next workshop will be held Oct. 22. Pre-registration is required and anyone interested may do so by contacting children’s librarian Michele Barnes at the Obion County Public Library at 885-7000.
