Atmos Energy’s Sharing the Warmth program is ready to aid customers who need assistance with their natural gas payments this winter.
The program helps people in need such as the elderly and families with young children. Program funds are donated by customers and Atmos Energy. Local energy assistance agencies qualify and distribute the funds to customers in need.
“Atmos Energy is a catalyst for improving the quality of life in the communities it serves,” said Kevin Akers, president of Atmos Energy’s Ky-Mid-States division. “We are asking customers to consider a voluntary donation to help their neighbors stay warm, healthy and safe this winter. Every dollar is important and all donations stay in the community where the customer lives.”
Atmos Energy customers can make a donation by checking an amount on the back of their gas bill. They also can contribute online or by calling Atmos Energy’s toll-free number at 1-888-286-6700.
Atmos Energy serves over 128,000 natural gas utility customers across Tennessee.
