COMPETE IN JUNIOR SHOW — Obion County 4-H members Ali Adcock (center), a student at Hillcrest Elementary School, and Mary Helen Driver (right) and Elizabeth Driver, students at Ridgemont Elementary School, recently competed in the Tennessee State Fair Junior Swine Show. All three girls competed in the Junior Breeding Show. Miss Adcock showed her January Duroc Gilt, which placed fourth in its class. Elizabeth Driver placed first in her class with her January Duroc Gilt and third in her class with her February Duroc Gilt. Elizabeth Driver’s January Duroc Gilt was also named Reserve Grand Champion gilt in the Duroc Show. Mary Driver placed third in her class with her February Yorkshire Gilt. In the market hog show, Miss Adcock placed third and fourth in the class with her two market hogs, while Elizabeth Driver placed third and fourth with her two market hogs. Mary Driver placed third in class with her market hog. Mary Driver placed second in showmanship, while Elizabeth Driver was fourth in showmanship.
