A new consignment shop has opened its doors in Troy.
Persnickety’s Consignment Shop is now open at 406 East Harper St. in Troy, between Troy Pharmacy and Cash Express.
The consignment shop is owned by Sherry Garwood, whose sales staff also includes Millette Harris.
Persnickety’s carries men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and accessories, as well as furniture, children’s toys and handcrafted jewelry. Dressing rooms are available.
A special feature customers will enjoy is a punch card allowing them to earn a punch for every $10 spent in the store. When the card is filled, the shopper receives 10 percent off.
Mrs. Garwood said all brands are accepted for consignment sale as long as the items are in like-new condition. She is currently accepting fall and winter items, with consignors asked to save their summer items until January.
“Consignment shops offer great savings on top-quality merchandise for the shopper, as well as a fair return on items brought in for the consignor,” Mrs. Garwood said.
Persnickety’s is open Mondays through Fridays from 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
Credit cards are accepted.
