Obion County Nursing home plans events

Obion County Nursing Home has announced the following activities for Oct. 6-12.
Monday: A coffee break will be held at 9:30 a.m. At 10:30, the residents will work crossword puzzles. A bead class will be held at 1:30 p.m. At 3, a Charles Stanley DVD will be watched.
Tuesday: At 9:30 a.m., a coffee break will be held. The residents will bowl at 10. At 1:30 p.m., a resident council meeting will be held. A pizza party will be held at 2:30.
Wednesday: A coffee break will be held at 9:30 a.m. A game of balloon toss will be played at 10:30. Bingo with Second Baptist Church in Union City will be played at 1:30 p.m. At 3:15, a story from “Guidepost” will be read to the residents.
Thursday: From 8-11 a.m., beauty shop services will be provided. At 10:30 a.m., “Good Ole Days” stories will be told. Rhynam Gospel Music will be offered at 1 p.m. From 2-4 p.m., manicures will be given.
Friday: A coffee break will be held at 9:30 a.m. A game of Yahtzee will be played at 10:30. At 1:30 p.m., a game of Bingo with covercard will be played. The movie “Casablanca” will be shown, with popcorn balls provided as refreshments, at 2:30.
Saturday: At 10 a.m., First Assembly of God will visit and hold services. A Saturday matinee will be shown at 1:30 p.m. A game of Uno, board games or dominoes will be played with the residents at 3 p.m.
Sunday: At 10 a.m., Troy First Baptist Church will visit and hold services. A Sunday tea will be held with the residents at 2 p.m. At 3:30, a game of Scrabble will be played with the residents.
