The Union City School System has announced the following lunch menus for Oct. 6-10, which is being observed as National School Lunch Week:
Union City High School
Monday, Oct. 6 — Baked chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, roll, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Tuesday, Oct. 7 — Baked chicken hot wings, corn, pinto beans, bread stick, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, Oct. 8 — Baked potato with chili or ham, steamed broccoli with cheese sauce, salad cup, Texas toast, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, Oct. 9 — Cheeseburger with bun, French fries, fresh sandwich salad cup, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, Oct. 10 — Professional development day.
Note: Union City High School offers fiesta bar, reduced-fat pizza bar and fresh salad bar options daily.

Union City Middle School
Monday, Oct. 6 — Baked chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, roll, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Tuesday, Oct. 7 — Crispito, corn, pinto beans, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, Oct. 8 — Baked potato with chili or ham, steamed broccoli with cheese sauce, salad cup, Texas toast, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, Oct. 9 — Cheeseburger with bun, French fries, fresh sandwich salad cup, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, Oct. 10 — Professional development day.
Note: Union City Middle School offers reduced-fat pizza bar and fresh salad bar options daily.

Union City Elementary
Monday, Oct. 6 — Baked chicken nuggets with roll or bologna and cheese sandwich, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Tuesday, Oct. 7 — Pizza or rib patty with bun, corn pinto beans, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, Oct. 8 — Baked potato with chili or ham or peanut butter and jelly sandwich, steamed broccoli with cheese sauce, salad cup, Texas toast, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, Oct. 9 — Cheeseburger with bun or corn dog, French fries, fresh sandwich salad cup, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, Oct. 10 — Professional development day.
