Job World Inc. recently joined staffing companies across the nation in celebrating National Staffing Employee Week in mid-September.
As the highlight of the special week, Job World honored Bobby Ford for his outstanding job performance and dedication for nine years as a Job World employee.
Ford works for Job World at Calhoun Spotting Service on the shipping dock at a local tire manufacturer, where he has worked for 16 years. The nomination was submitted by Larry Simmons, Ford’s supervisor on the shipping dock.
“Bobby has an excellent attitude, a great work ethic and good attendance,” Simmons said when submitting the nomination.
Another testament to Ford’s work ethic came from Lana Orchard of Calhoun Spotting Service.
“He has the same great attitude today as he had the day he started working,” Ms. Orchard said.
The job Ford performs each day is very physically demanding and for him to keep a “can-do” attitude is another reason he deserved the honor, according to those who nominated him.
Ford was presented with a basket full of gift cards, snacks and certificates of recognition from both Job World and Calhoun Spotting Service.
Job World marketing manager Kristie Dyer said Job World is proud to acknowledge the temporary and contract workers who go out on assignments each day.
“Bobby is a wonderful example of the type of dedicated individuals that are working for the clients of Job World,” Ms. Dyer said.
“We are committed to delivering, recruiting and staffing excellence to every client, every day and we could not meet that commitment without the dedication of Job World employees like Bobby Ford.”
