Mary “Mae” Evelyn (McCoy) Terry, 64, of Union City died Sept. 25, 2008, at Jackson Regional Hospital.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Larry Hitesman officiating. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. today.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Jackson, John McCoy, Chad Dill, Justin Dill, Bobby Ford, Daniel Ford and Kevin Stowe.
She was born July 19, 1944, in Lake County, daughter of the late Ted and Annie Bell (Newsom) McCoy. She married Jimmy Clay Terry Feb. 24, 1979. He died Jan. 22, 2002. She had been an employee of the former H.I.S. manufacturing company in South Fulton and was a member of Sunswept Baptist Church in Union City.
Survivors include two daughters, Annette Hancock of South Fulton and Patty Davis of Troy; three sons, Ricky White of Lafayette, La., Jackie White of Dyersburg and John Cruce of Martin; 10 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mildred Sherrill and Martha Jackson, both of Union City, and Jane Carver of Dresden; and her brother, Raymond McCoy of Memphis.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Jackson and Maggie Ford; and two brothers, Charlie McCoy and Johnny McCoy.
