The Obion County affiliate of Habitat for Humanity will host a work day for a new home being built for Carolyn Pirtle on the corner of Third and Bransford streets in Union City Saturday. Habitat construction superintendent Paul Pitts will be at the work site by 6 a.m. and workers can begin their volunteer efforts under his direction at 7. There will be a mid-morning break about 10 a.m. for prayer and testimony.
Many members of the Habitat board and the homeowner will be there to begin the project and are looking forward to working with several volunteers.
