TO PERFORM — Trailer Choir, which has its own unique blend of real life sing-along style backyard barbecue songs about livin’ life and drinkin’ a cold beer with your best friends, will be in concert at Perry County High School in Linden Oct. 11. The show is being presented by the Perry County Football Boosters. Tickets are $15 in advance and may be purchased online at www.perrycountyfootball.org or at the Bank of Perry County in Linden and Lobelville or Bank of Lewis County in Hohenwald. Tickets are $20 at the door. The band’s debut single, “Off the Hillbilly Hook,” has become the lead single for the soundtrack for Toby Keith’s feature film “Beer for My Horses.” Trailer Choir started as a loose association of musicians and singers, usually including Butter (right) and Big Vinny (left), traveling the Southeast playing private parties and frat houses. They covered everything from “Dust on the Bottle” to “Friends in Low Places” and, when Crystal joined them, “I Will Survive.” Over time, they added a few originals. Big Vinny hails from Linden. Crystal is from Cheyneyville, La. Butter was raised in the northeastern Ohio town of Ashtabula.
