Miss Keightley, Black to wed

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Kimberly Elaine Keightley and Philip James Black, both of Bethlehem, Pa., are being announced today. The bride-elect is the daughter of Kathy and Johnny Bacon of Union City and the late Barry Keightley of Union City. Her grandparents are Harold and Elaine Stark of Southaven, Miss., Francis Keightley of Columbus, Ga., the late Porter Keightley and the late Nancy Keightley, both of Union City. She graduated from Union City High School in 1999 and the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 2003, majoring in logistics and transportation. While at UT-K, she was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority, Student Alumni Associates, Team Vols, The Cross, First Year Studies Peer Mentor, Golden Key Honor Society and the National Collegiate Scholars Dean’s List. She is employed at Linde Gas as the regional sales account manager. The groom-elect is the son of Eddie and Kathy Black of Easton, Pa. His grandparents are James and Elizabeth Black and the late Philip and Maida Loftus, all of Easton. He graduated from Easton Area High School in 1997 and Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pa., in 2001, earning a degree in international business and a minor in Spanish. He played football at Moravian College. He is also employed at Linde Gas, where he is a market analyst. The couple will wed at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 4 at the Frankum residence, located at 704 East Main St. in Union City. A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony.
