wcp 7-31 COMMUNITY ENHANCEMENT GRANT — Thanks to the Greenfield Police Department and Chief Danny Harris, the Greenfield Senior Citizens and City Park received a $3,000 grant for community enhancement. Funds were used to purchase tables for the Greenfield Senior Citizens Center and new picnic tables and grills for the City Park. Pictured with the new equipment are Greenfield senior citizens Billy Swindell, Susie Walker, Peggy Dunning, Gillie Perry, Betty Lowrance, Greenfield Police Department Chief Danny Harris, Lt. Danny Smith, Lt. Joey Radford, Greenfield Mayor Eddie McKelvy and City Recorder Randy Potts. Mayor McKelvy said, “We are very appreciative of the police department’s efforts in obtaining the Community Enhancement Grant. The Senior Citizen’s Center can utilize the much-needed tables. The picnic tables and grills are an asset to our park and we encourage families to utilize our local park.” None |
