The Messenger. 08.01.08 Grace (Ferguson) Headden, 87, of Union City died July 30, 2008, at Martin Health Care. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Murphy Funeral Home in Martin, with burial following in Mount Ararat Cemetery near Troy. Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 this evening. She was born Dec. 10, 1920, in Obion County, daughter of the late Charles William and Clopie (Williams) Ferguson. She was the widow of William Ardell Headden and was a former employee of Merritt Clothing Co. and Mar-Tenn Hams. She was a member of Union City Assembly of God. Survivors include her son, Clyde A. Headden of Palm City, Fla.; her daughter, Jeanie Baker of Palmersville; her brother, Claude Ferguson of Union City; and her sister, Ruby Ring of Martin. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Jack Ferguson, Fred Ferguson, Leonard Ferguson and Bill Ferguson; and two sisters, Nina Wallace and Beulah Speight.
