The Messenger. 07.29.08 Thelma Lee Burnham, 94, of Westland, Mich., a former resident of Pilot Oak, Ky., died July 27, 2008, at Four Seasons Nursing Center in Westland. She has several relatives in the Fulton/Pilot Oak area. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Pilot Oak Baptist Church, with the Rev. Charles Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and at the church on Thursday for services. She was born July 24, 1914, in Water Valley, Ky., daughter of the late Ben T. and Mary Alice “Allie” (Gill) Wilson. She was the widow of Thomas A. Burnham and was a member of Livonia (Mich.) Baptist Church. She had worked on the assembly line at Chrysler Corp. in Detroit and had lived in Michigan for several years. Survivors include her son, Robert Burnham of Charlotte, N.C.; and seven grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
