Miss McCage, Hoffman to wed

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Andrea Elizabeth McCage and Hunter Parks Hoffman, both of Nashville, are being announced today. The bride-elect is the daughter of Mike and Paula McCage of Troy. Her grandparents are the late Herman and Gladys McCage of Troy, Dortha Wedeking of Searcy, Ark., the late Harold L. Wedeking of Browning, Ill., and the late John Paul Martin of San Fransisco. She is a 1998 graduate of Obion County Central High School. She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2003, earning a degree in accounting. In 2006, she graduated from Lipscomb University, earning a master’s of business administration degree with a concentraton in accounting. While at UTM, she was a member of Phi Chi Theta business fraternity. She is an assistant controller at Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville. The groom-elect is the son of Dr. William and Lenora Solomons of Martin and Tom Hoffman and the late Katherine Hoffman of Mammoth Spring, Ark. His grandparents are Edna Hoffman and the late Daniel C. Hoffman of Memphis, Corrine Stewart of Martin and the late Joe Marshall Stewart Sr. of Jackson. He is a 1999 graduate of Clarksville High School. He is enrolled at Nashville State Community College, where he is pursing an associate’s degree in computer aided drafting. He is plant materials manager at Landscaping by John Waller in Brentwood. The couple will wed Aug. 23 at First United Methodist Church in Martin. A reception will follow in church fellowship hall. Published in The Messenger 7.29.08
