The Messenger. 07.28.08 Completed arrangements are being announced for Mary Ernestine “Tina” Phillips, 60, of Union City, who died July 25, 2008, at her home. Services were set for 11 a.m. today at David’s Chapel Baptist Church in the Brownsville (Ky.) community near Hickman. The Rev. Charles Southerland was to officiate, with burial following in New Haven Cemetery near Ridgely. White-Ranson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were to be Joey VanCleave, Jack Krietman Jr., Justin Krietman, Moe Jordan, J.R. Jones and Josh Truett. She was born July 27, 1947, in Ridgely, daughter of Mary Alice (Faulkner) Pruitt of Roellen and the late Joey Love Pruitt. She married William Russell Phillips July 27, 2007. He survives. She was a retired employee of Thomas Lighting in Dyersburg and was a member of Union City Second Baptist Church. She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sue Ann and Jackie Krietman of Union City; two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Donna Faye Bizzle and Jason and Amy Bizzle, all of Dyersburg; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Judy Walker of Dyersburg, Frances Wagner of Memphis, Wanda Jones of Halls and Shirley Harris of Mayfield, Ky.; and five brothers, Danny Pruitt, Larry Pruitt and Roy Pruitt, all of Halls, Tommy Pruitt of Martin and Donald Pruitt of Dyersburg.
