wcp 7-29 Dale L. Kisling, 78, of Palmersville, died Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at his residence. A local memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Machesney Park, Ill. Bowlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Kisling was born in Freeport, Ill, son of the late Alfred and Clara Mable Nelson Kisling. He was a piece worker and mill operator for Borg-Warner. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Jeannie Mae Vickery Kisling of Palmersville; two sons, Thomas N. Kisling of Henderson, Nev., and Marvin A. Kisling of St. Louis, Mo.; one stepson, Clay Kilgore of Lasalle, Peru; three stepdaughters, Lila Ballard of Rockford, Ill., Lisa Reynolds of Kenosha, Wis., and Robin Thomas of Fort Pierce, Fla.; five brothers, Herbert Kisling of Lady Smith, Wis., Allen Kisling of Bruce, Wis., Warren Kisling of California, Harley Kisling of Rockford, Ill., and Leonard Kisling of Chicago, Ill.; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Gale Podewils; two sons, Dale Kisling Jr. and Duane J. Kisling; one stepson, Caylyn Kilgore; one sister and two brothers.
