The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Jaime McCollum and Blake Anthony White, both of Nashville, are being announced today. The bride-elect is the daughter of Sam and Patti McCollum of Woodland Mills. She is the granddaughter of Claire McCollum and the late Sam McCollum of Woodland Mills and the late Bob and Helen Counts. She is a 2005 graduate of Murray (Ky.) State University, where she received a bachelor of science degree in journalism. She is employed as a service team manager for WebMedx in Brentwood. The groom-elect is the son of Mike and Kathy White of Greenfield. His grandparents are the late Robert Lee and Mary Nelle Overton of Greenfield and the late Richard and Johnni Mae White of Kenton. He is a 2004 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin, where he received a bachelor of science degree in business administration. He is employed as a claims analyst for Aim Healthcare in Franklin. The couple will exchange vows during a private ceremony Aug. 9. A reception will be held following the ceremony at 7 p.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Union City. All family and friends are invited to attend the reception.
