Dalimonte – Sliger engagement

wcp 7-24 Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Edward Dalimonte of Knoxville are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Mallory Teresa Dalimonte, to Matthew Paul Sliger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andy Sliger Sr. of Martin. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Rita Dalimonte of Webster, Mass., and the late August Dalimonte and the late George and Margaret Vestal of Knoxville. Miss Dalimonte is a 2004 graduate of Bearden High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in speech pathology. She was a Young Life leader for Webb School of Knoxville, where she was also the cheerleading coach for the middle school. The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. A.G. Sliger of Madill, Okla., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Wilson of Carney, Okla. Sliger is a 2002 graduate of Westview High School. He graduated in May from the University of Tennessee with a degree in mechanical engineering. He was a Young Life leader. He is employed for the summer at the Oak Ridge Research Laboratory. The couple will exchange vows at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, at Broadway Baptist Church in Knoxville. Special music, including Will Sliger, will begin at 4:30 p.m. All friends and family are invited to attend the ceremony and the reception immediately following at the Emporium Center for Arts and Culture. Invitations will be sent to out-of-town guests only. After their marriage, the couple will live in Tampa, Fla., were the bride will enter the master’s degree program for communication sciences and disorders at the University of South Florida.
