Engineering consulting firm to add 150 jobs

OAK RIDGE (AP) — Science Applications International Corp. says it will relocate some of its operations to its Oak Ridge location, resulting in at least 150 new jobs. The consulting firm said Monday it is moving human resources, finance and corporate purchasing jobs in its new shared services center. Those operations were previously handled at locations in San Diego and McLean, Va. The shared services center will be located in an existing Science Applications International facility. By the end of the year, the company will employ about 900 individuals in Oak Ridge. San Diego-based Science Applications International provides engineering and technology consulting.
