The Messenger. 07.21.08 Rebecca (Boaz) Adams, 88, of Fulton died 2 a.m. July 18, 2008, at Parkway Regional Hospital emergency room in Fulton. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with the Rev. Von Unruh officiating. Burial will follow in Boaz Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 1-2 p.m. Friday. The family requests that memorials be made to Fulton Public Library, 312 Main St., Fulton, KY 42041; or Ken-Tenn Humane Society, 406 Eddings St., Fulton, KY 42041. She was born Dec. 23, 1919, in Hickman County, Ky., daughter of the late Charles Alton Boaz and the late Lillie (Hutchens) Boaz Winston. She was the widow of Arthur L. Adams Jr., and was a member of Fulton First United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women and its Rebecca Ruth Circle. She was a homemaker and a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and had lived in this area since 1981, when she moved from Iowa City, Iowa. Survivors include three sons, Arthur L. Adams III of Loveland, Colo., John W. Adams of Tampa, Fla., and Robert James Adams of Columbus, Ohio; two grandchildren, David Adams of Birmingham, Ala., and Anne Marie Adams of Kalamazoo, Mich.; her great-granddaughter, Isabell Adams of Kalamazoo; and her sister, Mary Winston Terrell of Nashville.
