The Messenger. 07.22.08 Christine (Voss) Hall, 88, of Newbern died July 21, 2008, at the Obion County Nursing Home. Graveside services were set for 10 a.m. today at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, with the Rev. Bob Conley officiating. Pallbearers were to be Larry Maupin, Larry Williamson, Claude Perkins, Bobby Vanhoy, Gene Willis and Robert Clemmons. Honorary pallbearers were to be Keith McDonald, Paul Hubble and Sonny Godsey. Johnsons-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern is in charge of arrangements. She was born Feb. 13, 1920, in Dyer, daughter of the late Clarence and Irene (Mealer) Voss. She was the widow of Earl Hall and was a retired employee of Arthur Winner Manufacturing Co. in Indiana. Survivors include five nieces, Martha Clemmons of Hornbeak, Katie Buckelew of Fulton, Gail Godsey of Dresden, Shirley Hubble of Greenfield and Janie Duncan of Hopkinsville, Ky.; several great nieces and great nephews, including Jackie Campbell of Troy, who cared for her; and several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Algie Voss and Charles Voss; and her niece, Jo Smith.
