Wilburn Leevan Robertson

wcp 7-17-08 Wilburn Leevan Robertson, 75, of Dresden, died Sunday, July 13, 2008, at his home. Services were at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bowlin Funeral Home, with Dr. Don McCulley officiating. Burial was at East Side Cemetery in Martin. Beth Nethery Legens, Gaylord Hodges, Alex Bynum, T.J. Grooms, Robert Grooms, Daniel Robertson, David House and Karen Webber served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Joe Cross, Junior Moore, Billy Joe Sexton, Joe Robertson, Charles Ogg, Frances Robertson Nanney and Hilda Robertson House. Robertson was born in Weakley County, the son of the late Archie Vanburen and Ida Lee Callison Robertson. He was a retired system electrician for Weakley County Municipal Electric Co., with 44 years of service. He was also retired from the National Guard and was a member of First Baptist Church in Dresden. Survivors include his wife, Mary Nell House Robertson of Dresden; a daughter, Lynette Robertson of Nashville; two sons, Keith (Melody) Robertson of Castro Valley, Calif., and Scott (Rozanna) Robertson of Dresden; a brother, Charles (Paula) Robertson of Dresden; two grandsons, Justin Kieth Robertson and Daniel Bryant Robertson; and two step-grandsons, Robert Grooms and T.J. Grooms.
