There will be an Anime and Gaming-themed lock-in at the Obion County Public Library at 1221 East Reelfoot Ave. in Union City Aug. 2 from 6:30 p.m.-7 a.m. Aug. 3. Attendees can leave at any time; however, once they have left, they cannot return. To attend, those taking part need a permission form signed by a parent, for those who are younger than 18 years of age. There will be multiple animes and games. Several adults and staff members will be present to oversee the lock-in. The lock-in will also be a PG-13 environment and parents giving permission for a child to attend need to be aware of this, a spokesman said. Permission slips are available at the Obion County Public Library and these should be turned in by Aug. 1 For more information, contact Garrett Stubblefield at the library at 885-7000.
