The Tennessee National Guard has announced that the time for the dedication this Friday of two bridges along State Route 840 to two soldiers of the Tennessee Army National Guard who lost their lives in Iraq has changed. Originally set for Friday at 1 p.m., the simultaneous dedications have been changed to 1:30 p.m. The reception for the families will be held at 11 a.m. at National Guard Headquarters on Sidco Drive in Nashville. At the reception, the soldiers’ families will be presented replicas of the bridge markers by Maj. Gen. Gus Hargett and Commissioner Gerald Nicely. Temporary one-lane closures at the bridges will begin at 1 p.m. Published in The Messenger 7.10.08
